La pianta e l'alzato della piccola cappella sono schizzati direttamente a penna. La mensa dell'altare, rettangolare con angoli smussati verso la cappella sostiene l'architettura per la parete retrostante. Due colonne portano un arco allungato che inquadra la finestra ovale sotto cui si trova la cornice per una piccola pala. L'impostazione del disegno risente di esempi romani di Carlo Fontana, ma va confrontato soprattutto con disegni del periodo romano dello stesso Filippo Juvarra: per la cornice della pala con lo studio di altare per una cappella di palazzo al Metropolitan Museum di New York e per il progetto per l'altare del Priorato di Malta (H. Millon, "Filippo Juvarra. Drawings from the Roman Period 1704-1714", Roma 1984, MM 017, MM10)
