Description
Calice in vetro leggermente fumé con largo piede a disco, fusto troncoconico rovesciato, coppa a campana con dodici costolature.

La foggia dello stelo, direttamente unito alla coppa senza elementi intermediari, e la coppa scampanata con costolature in rilievo ricorrono in alcuni esemplari arricchiti da decorazioni crestate sul gambo ("morise"), conservati al Rijksmuseum di Amsterdam, al British Museum e nella Wallace Collection di Londra e al Corning Museum of Glass. La datazione di tutti questi pezzi oscilla tra la fine del XVI e lla prima metà del XVII secolo, mentre l'attribuzione varia tra Murano e produzione "à la façon de Venise". Il colore fumé leggermente rosato fa propendere per una produzione in stile veneziano fuori dalle fornaci lagunari, forse nei Paesi Bassi.
