Presenta notevoli affinità con un busto in biscuit, non marcato, attribuito alla Real Fabbrica di Napoli, 1790 ca., il cui prototipo è probabilmente un busto raffigurante Bruto, ma che presenta anche una certa somiglianza con i ritratti giovanili di Caio Ottaviano Augusto (il busto in biscuit appartiene alle collezioni di porcellane di Palazzo Pitti cfr. A.D'AGLIANO, Le porcellane italiane a Palazzo Pitti, Firenze, Centro Di, 1986, p.166, scheda n. 175).
