Gruppo in porcellana bianca raffigurante cavaliere che aiuta a infilare o sfilare una scarpa a una dama.
Historical-Criticism news
Il gruppo denominato il calzolaio galante, opera di Giuseppe Gricci, deriva, attraverso incisioni contemporanee, dal dipinto La legatura del pattino di N. Lancret (cfr. Alessandra Mottola Molfino, 1977, vol. II, fig. 218).
Un groppo quasi identico è comparso sul mercato antiquario (Bonhams, 7 dicembre 2017, lotto 29), proveniente dalla collezione milanese di Alessandro Orsi e attribuito a Capodimonte, ca. 1755 (cfr. Giuseppe Morazzoni, Le porcellane italiane, testo di S. Levy, Milano 1960, tav. 335; Angela Caròla-Perrotti, Le Porcellane dei Borbone di Napoli (1986), n. 121).
