Description
Il piccolo frammento ha una forma terminante in tre punte rifinite da sottili maglie ripassate. Alle estremità vi sono due inserti di punto Venezia a moderno, decorati da una corolla centrale e rametti ondulati, tenuti insieme da barrette di congiungimento senza festoni.

Il frammento documenta le lavorazioni del punto Venezia piatto (L. Petrali Castaldi 1929, pp. 83-85), ispirato all'illustre tradizione seicentesca, e il suo costante utilizzo nell'abbigliamento femminile, quando inserti ornavano pettorine e polsi d'abito, ma anche nell'arredo domestico.
