Cucchiaio d'argento definito " ligula".

Il cucchiaio ovale si collega al manico sanico sottile e appuntito mediante una voluta lavorata a traforo.
L'oggetto, sebbene di fattura più scadente, è affine alla serie di dieci ligulae provenienti anch'esse da Desana (Cfr. scheda 367-376/A). La forma del manico e del cucchiaio sono perfettamente uguali, mentre il raccordo tra i due elementi è costituito da una voluta traforata che differenzia la ligula dagli esempi citati ( vedi anche schede 377 e 379/A).
Come nel caso ddella serie citata la ligula va assegnata ad orafi tardo romani attivi nel V sec. d.C. (V.Viale 1971, pp.75,77)
