Description
Ago discriminatoio ricurvo a sezione quadrata con le facce profilate da una modanatura in lieve aggetto. L’impugnatura è composta da un capitello ornato da tre giri di foglie sovrapposti e da una torre quadrata con merlatura su beccatelli davanti alla quale si trovano due uomini armati che si affrontano. Un ago discriminatoio è un utensile usato per tracciare la scriminatura dei capelli. Il manico raffigurava soggetti profani o, più di rado, sacri (Koechlin 1924, vol. I, pp. 417-423; Williamson, Davies 2014, vol. II, p. 635 [P. Williamson]).
