Description
cassetta reliquario rettangolare con sportellino centrale, con coperchio a cuspide e piedini a cavalletto, ricoperta di lastre puntinate con stellette. Sul coperchio e sui lati lunghi sono disposti su cinque file verticali tondi di pasta vitrea e su quattro, sedici figurette applicate, con libro e testa a tutto rilievo.

La cassetta lignea è interamente rivestita da lamine in ottone con decoro guillochè e stelle e quattro punte. Tutte le appliques tranne le due centrali trattengono un libro con la mano destra. L'opera è un evidente falso del XIX-XX secolo come confermano anche le anlisi chimiche effettuate sugli smalti e sulle paste vitree, si tratta della copia di una "châsse del pacotille" della seconda metà del XIII secolo.
