Description
Gonfalone comunale della città di Torino. Il gonfalone in gros de Tours di seta azzurro ricamato per applicazione con inserti in tessuto laminato dorato, a punto raso e punto spaccato con sete policrome e a punto steso con filati metallici (oro filato, trafilato e cordoncini a più capi). La decorazione è data dallo stemma della città e dall'iscrizione "Augusta Taurinorum". Tutto il perimetro è bordato da un gallone a fuselli in oro filato (h cm 3), mentre lungo il lato inferiore è cucita una frangia metallica spiraliforme dorata (h cm 11).
