Description
Piatto rotondo in porcellana con decorazione policroma, raffigurante una scena famigliare: padre e madre con quattro bambini.Sullo sfondo, una colonna scanalata e architetture in lontananza. Sulla tesa girali fogliati in rosso ferro e bordo in verde e oro.

La scena a carattere famigliare è tratta da una stampa di Francesco Bartolozzi, "The Happy Father", da un originale di Giovanni Battista Cipriani, pubblicata a Londra con data 1 marzo 1785 da W. Byrne con il pendant "The distressed mother" (Baudi di Vesme, Calabi 1928, p. 347, nn. 1323-1324).
Il piatto sembra dipinto dalla stessa mano del n. inv. 2603/C.
