Description
Il bordo si compone di un piedino traforato su cui sono disposti piccoli festoni smerlati a tre punte, formati da barrette che contengono due fogliette diagonali contrapposte.
Historical-Criticism news
Il bordino, lavorato con un filato molto scurito o non sbiancato, ha un semplice decoro di stile cinquecentesco utilizzato a lungo nella produzione popolare come ornamento di biancheria domestica e personale. La vicinanza ancora rilevabile ai modelli della seconda metà del sec. XVI, come il Neuw Modelbuch stampato a Zurigo nel 1561 ca. (Lotz 1933, n, 23), unita alla lavorazione molto accurata potrebbe supportare una datazione più antica, come proposto da Mottola Molfino.
