Description
Piattino decorato con il motivo "a squama porpora" e natura morta composta da due pere e un grappolo d'uva. Piccoli frutti sparsi. Sul bordo, motivo a scaglie embricate color porpora e motivi rocaille dorati.
Historical-Criticism news
Il decoro è denominato "a squama porpora" degli inventari della manifattura Cozzi.
Deriva da motivi ornamentali della porcellana cinese Qianlong, ripresi a Meissen tra il 1750 e il 1760 con il nome di "Schuppen-muster".
Il motivo delle scaglie embricate, arricchito di ornati dorati, si accompagna nelle porcellane Cozzi a paesaggi, cineserie, nature morte di frutta.
Altre varianti presentano scaglie in blu e verde.
