Description
Vaso pot-pourri a traforo in porcellana con ornamentazione policroma (giallo, verde, viola, azzurro, seppia, marron, bruciato e oro), raffigurante, nei due riquadri principali, tre putti ignudi che giocano a birille e tre con le trottole. Manici a foggia di rami di vite al disotto dei quali, sul vaso, è dipinto un ramo fiorito. Pomo del coperchio a foggia di rosellina. Come per molte altre scene con putti riprodotte nelle opere della manifattura di Doccia, la fonte diretta sono le incisioni contenute in "Les Jeux et les Plaisirs de l'Enfance", di Jacques Stella, pubblicato a Parigi nel 1657. Oggetti che facevano parte del medesimo servizio sono ora conservati a New York, Milano, Seattle (A. d'Agliano 2005, p. 348).
