Description
Ritratto di M. Andrea Boucheron, in giacca rossa, che ha in mano un disegno raffigurante un candelabro d'argento con figura. Sopra un tavolo, patente regia con scritta: "Carlo Emanuele". Sul fondo, scansia con argenterie. In cornice di legno sagomato e dipinto.

Nel 1737 l'argentiere Andrea Boucheron, allievo a Torino di Thomas Germain, ottenne la carica di orefice reale alla corte di Torino. Il progetto di girandola e gli argenti sugli scaffali sono identificabili con modelli incisi nel volume di Pierre Germain, Elements de l'orfevrerie, edito a Parigi nel 1748.
