Description
Miniatura dipinta raffigurante una fanciulla dai capelli biondi separati in due bande raccolte sulla sommità del capo, veste un abito bianco, con cintura blu, le braccia fasciate da lunghi guanti bianchi, in piedi davanti a una cortina verde e una colonna, su sfondo di cielo. Cornice in metallo dorato e smalto blu.

Faija fu allievo di Comte a Napoli, poi di Frédéric Millet a Parigi, nel 1837 si stabilì a Londra e da allora subì l'influenza di sir Charles William Ross di cui eseguì moltissime copie.
