Description
Miniatura dipinta raffigurante un uomo vestito con una redingote nera, una cappa di velluto verde, una camicia e una cravatta bianche, sullo sfondo una colonna, un drappo rosso e uno scorcio di cielo nuvoloso. Cornice in metallo dorato.

L'artista nel 1820 raggiunse a Londra il fratello Simon Jacques che eguagliò per qualità nelle opere migliori della sua produzione. Nel 1835 fu membro della Royal Academy.
