Description
Santo frate in ginocchio Si tratta della rappresentazione di un santo frate con i piedi nudi inginocchiato e rivolto verso destra. Ha un rosario legato alla cintura. Sulla destra, davanti a lui, un libro è rappresentato a terra. Molto probabilmente, si tratta di uno studio per la rappresentazione di un santo in estasi. Forse san Francesco.

La Galleria del Palazzo Pitti a Firenze possiede un San Franceco di Assisi eseguito dallo stesso artista, cioè Ludovico Cardi detto Cigoli .
