Description
Il supplizio di Marsia Questo disegno rappresenta il supplizio di Marsia. In questa rappresentazione Apollo, raffigurato in piedi, si appresta a legare il satiro a un albero. Questo, rappresentato in ginocchio, prova a difendersi. Sul fondo si distingue l'albero al quale Marsia sarà legato per subire il supplizio di essere scorticato vivo dalle mani di Apollo. Tra i santi cristiani, Bartolomeo fu martirizzato in questo stesso modo. Nel cielo, si intravedono due angioletti che assistono alla scena. In primo piano, davanti al gruppo di Apollo e Marsia, la cetra di Apollo è rappresentata a terra.

Da assegnare al Mallé la postilla "?'" che appare a matita sul retro della cartella. ( dichiar. Griseri 1985). Ed è databile anni 1950.
