Description
Brocca a forma di anfora in maiolica con manico, ornamentazione policroma (azzurro, giallo, nero su fondo bianco) raffigurante lo stemma mediceo sostenuto da 2 putti alati. All'attacco del manico, mascherone raffigurante uomo barbuto. Sobrie decorazioni a filetti e a bande sul manico, all'imbocco e sul piede.

Al Musée des Beaux-Arts di Dijon è conservata una brocca molto simile, attribuita ad una manifattura di Faenza, fine secolo XVI - inizio secolo XVII (inv.: b-254), con decoro raffigurante una figura allegorica in trono. (cfr. foto inviata dal Museo di Dijon con lettera del 14/04/1987, prot. n. 1244).
