Description
Tazza in porcellana decorata con motivo "a squame" blu e cartouche entro cui sono dipinti fiori di pruno su zolla erbosa in blu, rosso e oro, in stile Imari.
Historical-Criticism news
Il decoro è denominato "a squama blò" degli inventari della manifattura Cozzi.
Deriva da motivi ornamentali della porcellana cinese Qianlong, ripresi a Meissen tra il 1750 e il 1760 con il nome di "Schuppen-muster".
Il motivo delle scaglie embricate in blu cobalto, profilate in oro, si accompagna in questo caso a soggetti ripresi dalle porcellane giapponesi Imari, fiori in blu, rosso e oro che suntano da zolle erbose, ento cartouche sagomate. Si tratta forse della tipologia "blò oro e fiori" citata negli inventari di fabbrica.
