ostensorio
Description
Ostensorio. Base esalobata. Fusto a profilo esagonale con nodo a losanghe. Teca a edicola di forma quadrangolare con pinnacoli alle estremità laterali, sormontata da una cuspida conica con sopra la croce. La lunetta destinata a sostenere l'ostia, in lega metallica dorata, non è quella originale.

Proveniente da una chiesa presso Dronero (cfr. Inven. Gen. 550).
V.Notin (corrispondenza 1996, cffr. Allegati) cfr. l'ostensorio con una serie di reliquiari di produzione limosina, fine sec. XV, la studiosa considera inoltre che la forma rettangolare dell'ostensorio non sembra tipica della produzione orafa piemontese.
