Emanuele Beltramo è figlio di Michele Beltramo, nato nel 1882, e noto artigiano calzolaio con laboratorio a Torino in Corso Duca di Genova, oggi Corso Stati Uniti. Alla fine degli anni Venti, il padre si trasferisce in via Santa Teresa 11, rilevando il negozio e le attrezzature di Hermann Sola, produttore di calzature sportive. Il figlio Emanuele continua la sua attività e vince nel 1964 l’Oscar per la calzatura.
