Description
Il merletto presenta un decoro a tralcio ondulante molto semplificato che forma brevi anse ripetute regolarmente in cui sono disposti piccoli fiori.
Historical-Criticism news
Il disegno molto stilizzato e ripetitivo, il filato spesso e morbido e i confronti con i merletti abruzzesi del sec. XIX riprodotti dalla Ricci (1913, figg. 103-105) e dalla Risselin- Steenebrugen (1973 fig. 84) inducono ad attribuire questo bordo, come anche il seguente (inv. 2417/T), a manifattura abruzzese, ad esempio quella più famosa di Pescocostanzo, confermando l’attribuzione di Mottola Molfino.
