Description
Sedia a gambe, braccioli, schienale, lisci. I montanti dello schienale terminano con un intaglio a palmette. In fronte e a tergo sotto il sedile, due traversine formano un nodo Savoia. Sedile in cuoio nero e dorsale in cuoio nero con decorazione impressa a oro: cornice di due fasce a piccoli fiori con al centro uno stemma tra quattro motivi a palmetta.
Historical-Criticism news
L'inventario reca la dizione: "Arte francese" (cfr. Inv. Gen. n. 894). Mallè fa notare che la provenienza dal castello di Chivasso e il nodo di Savoia delle traversine, suggeriscono piuttosto una collocazione Piemontese (Mallè, 1972, p. 88). Cfr. scheda 1111/L.
